Out of the Opaline des Pins dam line, where many GP and Olympics horses come from

Chalouna N is out of a very interesting dam line, with many GP and Olympics horses. Her dam Morgana J&F decents from the high-performing BWP dam line no. 11, which has produced numerous international jumpers and licensed stallions. Her great-granddam is the legendary Opaline des Pins, dam of five licensed licensed stallions, who competed at Grand Prix and Olympic level: Jus de Pomme (double Olympic gold medallist), Quintus (Olympic Games), Richebourg (Horse of the Year 2003), Shogun (GP winner at Geneva World Championships), Trésor d’Opaline (Olympic Games).
Trésor is a full brother of Morgana’s granddam Topaline, who showed great promise at 1.50m level before being retired early for breeding.
Morgana’s sister Ivoline Verde has produced the 1.60m jumper Nopal van Tallert and her other sister Frauke has produced the 1.50m jumper Hors de Question as well as two licensed stallions.
Morgana J&F herself, produced the young 1.50m jumper Diamond RBC Z, now competing under the saddle of Jenna Friedman-Lopez in the US.

The father Chaloubino

Chaloubino is a very interesting stallion and has produced numerous fantastic foals, many of which have been sold well at auctions. During his very first season, he was placed in the international Youngster Tours in Riesenbeck/GER, Lanaken/BEL and Opglabbeek/BEL. Ridden by Patrick Stühlmeyer, he had previously secured the silver medal twice at the German Championships for young show jumping horses: in the five-year-old class with dream scores of 9.4 and 9.6 and in the six-year-old class with a super-fast round. He also came seventh in the final of the World Championships for young show jumping horses in Lanaken/BEL, after securing the gold medal at the Oldenburg Regional Championships in Rastede. The year before, he was victorious with a score of 9.3 in the Dobrock Championships.

His sire is the world famous Chacoon Blue, who has achieved several top placings in the World Ranking List show jumping competitions of Frankfurt/GER, Kronenberg/NED, Lanaken/BEL and Oldenburg/GER, against strong competition, having previously been placed in the Youngster Tours of Munich/GER, Neumünster/GER, Paderborn/GER and Opglabbeek/NED.
